The Terrain™ Helmet is a 'One-Size-Fits-all' light-weight (550g) safety helmet which offers ALL-ROUND medium to high head protection, with a range of modular accessories aimed specifically at professionals working in tough outdoor environments. Currently the range includes Sordin and Peltor Ear Defenders, full face protection from Hellberg and Supreme Visors and helmet mounted torches from Petzl.
The helmet features a 3mm to 5mm thick high impact ABS shell with a High performance Polystyrene foam liner, an inner size ratchet adjustment harness (from 52cm to 64cm) and a four-point terelyne chin strap. The impact performance for the TH3 goes well beyond current HSE guidelines - where other manufacturers put cost before performance, TERRAIN puts wearer protection and usability first.

The helmet is CE marked and has been tested to FS/ATV/1 (EN1384), which is the HSE approved technical specification (available on request) for use on all-terrain vehicles with EN166 eye protection. It's also approved to the internationally recognised Marine standard BSI PAS028 (approved for use on fast watercraft including RIBs and RNLI hovercraft).

Jules Hudson on BBC1's Sunday evening magazine show aimed at the rural
community, "Countryfile".
It was purchased from us
originally to be used on "Lambing Live" in the Spring of 2010 but it's
surprising how often it's turned up since.
This is the standard TH3 in Military Green, our top seller over the
last 4 years.

The Countryfile item's synopsis:
"Jules Hudson is also hoping for
clear skies on the mountains of Snowdon; it's the one time of the year
when the wild pony round-up happens. It's a dangerous operation, and
success is not guaranteed."
The footage showed the modern
day 'cowboys' in high-speed off road action, but as you might expect,
Jules was in the sensible minority being one of the few wearing head protection...
